City Welcomes Ice Cream Shop

Scoopdaddys ice cream shop recently opened at 1359 Main Street in downtown Sarasota. Scoopdaddys is known for serving up old fashioned milkshakes, ice cream floats and, of course, banana splits amid a vast collection of 1940s, 50s and 60s memorabilia.
Store hours are:

  • Monday – Thursday: 10am – 10pm
  • Friday and Saturday: 10am – 11pm
  • Sunday: 11am – 10pm

The original Scoopdaddys is located on St. Armands Circle. Learn more about Scoopdaddys at www.Scoopdaddys.com or call 941-953-6900.

Scoopdaddys recently received a welcome package from the City of Sarasota, including a letter from Mayor Suzanne Atwell, thanking the owner for doing business in Sarasota. As part of the “Succeed in Sarasota” welcome package, new business owners and service providers are offered a one-time opportunity to receive a complimentary news release from the City announcing their newly opened business.
